Fun weekend!
Well, as most of you know last weekend we went up to St. Aug. We had such a nice time. Meg and I got there Friday night just in time to play some "Sponge Bob Uno" with the older of the St. Aug cousins(Br, An & Na), having a slumber party @ Nanny's ! Then had a fun "who can go to sleep first contest" but not before eating a couple pickles and for the more daring kids....SPICY pickles! :o)
It's so funny how much more fun everything is when it's a contest or a race! Sat. we woke up and had Nanny's famous Chocolate chip waffles and donuts! Yumm!!! Then another game of Uno before they had to leave!
My favorite road trip buddy(Em) came to visit. We had a lot of fun playing matching colors and Sponge Bob characters. Then after much begging on her part....we went out side and played "baseball"....boy does she like baseball! We played on the cars and then my mom and dad arrived!!!
That's when the fun started!!! But I'll leave it at that....
After playing for awhile Rob came over and we went to his house to visit everyone and see the new addition to the fam! (Fr)
(R&L thanks so much for letting us visit, it was a nice time!)
For those of you that haven't seen her(Fr) in person yet, she is adorable (just like the other 4)! When Meg was holding her she kepting making that face that looks like you're whistling! It was so cute!!!
Just before we left, Ouida gave sang us her "We just hit a deer" song, that was very entertaining....(as I'm sure you could imagine!!)...I forgot the actual title...but I think you all know what I'm talking about! Didn't get to see the pictures yet, but I am looking forward to seeing them, what a crazy situation!
After the great performance we left and played this new game Apples to Apples over at Jae & Mikes!
It was a lot of fun! I love this game!! Meg and I had played it with one of her friends and thought it would be fun with the family...It was! Maybe next time we can get more people together to play...it was kind of last minute this time!
We visited Steve's church Sun. before going home. We meet GGmama there too! It was nice! I loved the guest singer/guitarist that was there...I forgot his name but he was awesome! And all the art work was so neat!
Didn't get to tell Steve bye...so let him know it was fun please!

I took my first Statistics test today...hope I did ok....I think I did; it was mainly on definitions, so I just hope I worded everything write. We'll see!

Sodium
I had a couple people ask why our small group is called "Sodium". It is actually an acrostic that stands for:
Sharing the gospel
Offering ourselves
Developing spiritually
Identifying our purpose
Unifying in fellowship
Ministering to others
The verse that we got this from is Matthew 5:13 "You are the salt of the earth."
A few suggestions....
A few movies suggestions for you to see (if you haven't)
I bought The Village the other day. Have you all seen it? I love M. Night's movies! This one is a little different than the rest of them(ie. Sixth Sense, Signs, Unbreakable) but it is still a good movie! But don't think of it as a "scary movie" or you won't like it...I bet you'll never guess what happens.....
Another movie that looks REALLY good......THE RING TWO....it looks so good! I thought after the first one that a second would just be dumb, but the previews look AWESOME! I loved the first one...I HAVE to see the second! It comes out March 18th!(but I'm sure those of you that wouldn't or didn't see The Ring, won't want to see this one...You're missing out! nah...just kidding...I understand!)
Another movie that I didn't get to see in the theater, but wanted to was The Forgotten; did anyone see it? It comes out on video/dvd Tues. It looked really good too, so I'm gonna check it out...I'll let ya know how it was!
Well since tomorrow is MLK Day NO CLASS!!! We're (Meg, Rachael and I ) are all going to IOA & Universal (we all have annual passes)...We're thinking it might we a little chilly for the outdoor roller coaster....(ie. THE HULK) but we are figuring that we'll just ride the indoor ones ALOT (ie. THE MUMMY)!! For anyone that hasn't been on The Mummy...it is AWESOME.... who would've thought that an indoor roller coaster could actually be fun....it's SOOO awesome! And The Hulk of course is too!
Well, that's it for now, our small group ("SODIUM") is meeting early tonight so I have to go! Hope K and the boys had a good time at Disney Quest! And I can't wait to go up to St. Aug....hopefully this coming weekend...to see a new family addition?!!!!?

Classes have begun
We just started a new semester in school last week. Right now I am taking classes that are prerequisite to get my BSN after I complete the nursing program.
I have completed all the the pre-req. for the RN program, but because of all that was going on last semester I didn't get the application in before the dead line for the Jan. RN class. I plan getting into the next nursing class, which will start in August.
The classes that I am in right now are English 2, Sociology and Statistics. My classes are Mon, Wed, Fri. So far they are going great!
I as a hostess at the same restuarant. In case you didn't hear, I did actually formally resign(quit) in Dec. but the managers pretty much all begged me to stay.....Well, to be specific on my last day 3 of them pretty much "cornered" me in the office, asking me to stay...offering me more $$ (which I personally think is STUPID to pay a host that much $ but hey, it's their $ and if they want to "waste it" on me then by all means....LET THEM!) I told them that I would think about it and let them know.
I decided to give it one more try...under a few conditions.

Working when she isn't there is a lot less stressful, and the entire situation is crazy enough as it is and having to deal with it at work too was just buring me out!
Now I can actually work "in peace".

Welcome.....
Hey guys....this is my blog...(WoW that sounds so cliche')
I figured that since we don't get to talk everyday I wanted a place that I could update what is going on in my life and you can visit and "catch up".
Now by having this "blog" I'm not saying I want to cancel out actual human contact, but I think by me updating on here you'll get to hear even more about what is going on, while it's going on and not weeks/months later! (Not that you are all sitting at home 24-7 wondering "Man I wish I knew what Jessica was doing") ....but you know what I mean!
Ok, well I hope that this will be fun for you, because I think it will be! There are comments on here too, so that if you would like to....well comment than you can! :o) Ok, that's enough for my intro!
