I just wanted to put out this site for anyone that would like to help out Hurricane Katrina victims. Watching the news I feel like I need to be there doing something to help all these millions (?) of people.(too bad I don't have my RN license yet!) I'm sure many of you feel the same. For me this is a great way of helping out, along with my prayers. Even thought I can't be there in person to help out.

If you go to Samaritan's Purse you can donate any amount that you feel lead to give. (Billy Graham's son Franklin Graham is the president.)I can't imagine what these people are going through.

Many of you have heard about our friend Warren's brother & the accident he was in the other day at work. He is in the hospital with 3rd degree burns and now has pneumonia. Please continue to keep him and his family in your prayers for strength and guidance!

Since I start classes on Tuesday

I thought I'd share a few pictures of me (from Friday, the day of our "big" orientation) because this is probably the last that you'll see of me inawhile!
:( This is the uniform that I will have to wear once a week to our clinicals at the hospital.


I know it's going to be tough and I'll miss having a life & seeing all you guys (often) but in the end it will all be worth it (I'm sure it'll be over before I know it). Thanks for all your continued prayers & support! You all are the greatest! (And Rob thanks for the stethoscope)

Some of you might have seen this on Yahoo's most emailed pictures. Well, after looking at this picture for a minute it occurred to me that it resembles something that is very prevalent around this time of year. Floridians especially should find this familiar looking!

Thanks to everyone who voted/tried for Kaysar!!! He was voted back into the house last night with 82% of the votes with 5 million (?) voting, I believe.

Honestly the #s don't matter Kaysars back so that's cool! Just had to share the news!

That's all I could think when I was picking up my books for class today. The annoying part was all I could hear in my head was Joey Lawrence from "Blossom" saying it! "Whoa!" (in a way that only Joey can say it!)

I have to take a CPR & AIDS class on Monday and Friday we have our "Big" orientation (in our uniforms & everything). I'm just so glad to finally be getting started! Keep my in your prayers, I know there's a long road ahead....

Ok well, I really want to share some pics from my trip & some I took of Wyatt the other day, but I'm just not feeling like doing it right now! :( sorry. You'll just have to stay tuned!!! (and I do mean T-U-N-E-D!)

But I wanted to share this picture with you! (actually my mom wanted me to! lol jk mom!!!!) Really it's the least I could do! (I'm sure there will be one coming soon of me in my actual uniform)

If this doesn't look like a lot just remember I had to make two trips to my car to get them all in. They were bagged in 5 different pages. Some of them are pretty heavy!

Ok before I update with new pictures of Wyatt and my trip to Ohio I need to say something.....

Big Brother is one of my all time favorite shows to watch during the summer. And this season BB6 has been especially fun!!! Well, there is a national vote going on right now to vote a person back into the house (that has been evicted) and I thought I would enlist the help of you guys to help me vote Kaysar back in!!! Kaysar will definitely be the best person to get back into the house. He'll make things very interesting!!!
