We had a great time visiting. Hopefully we'll make it up soon for a longer stay.

Meg & I posing with The Simpsons while waiting to watch Spider Man 3 (the longest movie of my life)

We had a great time hangin out on the way to & from the movie with Steve & Andrew. And while waiting in line for the movie. Thanks Steve for letting us crash over there. Thanks Nanny for the platter of goodies.

A little update on me while I'm here:

  • I'm starting my summer classes this week.
  • I got my grades back from last semester & I got all A's!
  • I went to the Gwen Stefani concert this past week & had a blast. (No hating please!) Here's a fun picture I took there:

  • This past weekend I went to a College and Career retreat & while I was there we saw a video called "Indescribable" of a message that Louie Giglio spoke. He referenced a few lyrics from the song Indescribable by Chris Tomlin:
Indescribable, uncontainable, You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name. You are amazing God...

Throughout his message he showed varies pictures of different stars and galaxies that are around the Milky Way. One of coolest things that he showed was this picture....

This is an image of the Whirlpool Galaxy (larger one on the left) and a dwarf galaxy(smaller one at the upper right). Not only is this image amazing because of its beauty and the fact that God created it but there is something very special about the very center of this galaxy......

This is an image of the nucleus of the the Whirlpool Galaxy:

This is what they call the ""X" across the nucleus of M51". Now I don't know about you but it sure doesn't look like an "X" to me it looks more like a cross.

I thought that was so cool. Not only did God make all of these stars and galaxies but (in my opinion)he even placed a little reminder of the love he has for us in the center or should I say heart of one of his beautiful creations.

I just had to share these images because I think they are remarkable. If you are interested in the message by Louie Giglio my remarks on it don't not give it justice you can order it here.

Andrew's visit in Tennessee

Andrew went up for the day to visit Wyatt. His mom sent some pictures of their visit. I thought I would share them. They are so cute! He's helping Dada build his tricycle with his tool belt on & all!

That's Wyatt's new Deigo doll from grandma sitting on the ground. That huge thing made it all the way up there on the plane for little WyWy.

a *ME* update

I just wanted to give a little update on what's going on with me. I talked to an advisor at my school the other day & I've decided to change my major for the 2nd time lol! But thankfully this time will be the final time & it will actually get me closer to graduating than what I previously thought when I started @ USF.

I have changed my major to Psychology. I now only have 12 more classes to take & I will have my BA! Woot woot! *heehee* I really think this is a good thing. It broadens my options then what I would've previously had, I'm really excited. This has always been an area of interest for me & I still would like to stay on a tract that allows me to work with children.

Also, for those of you that live in St. Augustine...I'm planning a "photography trip" up there in a couple weeks with a friend of mine. We are going to be staying Saturday night & coming home Sunday. If any of you aren't busy that weekend I'd love to stop by & say a quick "Hi".

That's my quick update on me. I gotta get to work!

Check out this article

I was researching info for this project I'm working on for my Children's Literature class, and came across this article. I thought it was a very interesting perspective.

Check it out, here's the link: http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=24080

The article is kinda old but it's still valid.

Where are you going?

"This way to Disney Dada!"

On the tram...

Wyatt & Daddy @ Disney

Wyatt & Aunt Jessica @ Disney

"Ok, I've got my hat, I'm in my stroller, LET'S GO!!!"
"Look it's Pooh Bear's house"
The Hundred Acre Woods
Daddy, Wyatt & Tigger

Wy's all time favorite, POOH!
He walked right up to Pooh all by himself!
Pooh was great...he sucks his thumb too!
After Wyatt got his picture, Pooh grabbed Tante's arm & posed for a picture, gave her a hug, kissed her hand, then drew a heart in the air & pointed to her! I think Pooh Bear has a thing for Wyatt's Tante! (lol)
Wyatt playing in Pooh's house in the Hundred Acre Wood's playarea
Having a great time sliding down the "tunnel slide"
Think, Think, Think
Wy checkin out Pooh's honey pot
Wyatt has to be the only kid who was asking,
"Where's Christopher Robin" (so cute!)
We were lucky enough to find him on
the Pooh Bear's Adventure ride.
Climbing up the Swiss Family Robinson's tree house
"Quick guys smile!"
Wyatt eating his yummy giant lolly pop
(we told him about them prior to going to Disney)
while waiting for the parade!
He was really excited about that lolly pop!
Me & Megan in front of
Cinderella's Castle waiting for the parade

Watching the parade.
"Look Dada there's Pooh!"

"Whooo!!" Wyatt looking at the fun souvenirs

Sleepy Wyatt, Daddy & Grandma waiting for the monorail

Group shot!

We had such a great time taking Wyatt to Disney for the first time. We weren't sure what to expect (how he'd like the characters in the costumes, the rides, etc. ) when were planning to go but we were pleasantly surprised about what we found when we got there. Wyatt loved it!!! He kept saying, "I want to go ride rides!"

My mom previously bought the DVD of "The Many Adventure's of Winnie the Pooh" for Wyatt, because we all loved it as kids & he loves it too! He really enjoyed being able to see Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Christopher Robin, etc. but he missed not seeing Piglet (I vaguely remember something about Piglet not being allowed to be with Disney anymore after that Piglet movie came out awhile ago but I forget exactly why)

He really enjoyed the day & the fun souveniors: a Mickey Mouse hat, a Winnie the Pooh doll, a fun Mickey Mouse ball that he picked out, a 1st vist button, yummy giant Pooh bear lolly pop, a Mickey Mouse bottle straw, & tones of pictures & memories!

When we were getting ready to leave Wyatt said a few times, "I no want to leave, I want to go ride rides". He is so cute.

And if we didn't know enough yesturday how much fun he had. When he woke up this morning the first thing he said to my mom was, "We going to Disney World today?" lol Too cute! Unfortunately, she had to say no, you get to go on the air plane. So we're thinking there's going to be many more visits to Disney to come!
